Junction Shoot - Thursday 22nd Ocober

Me and Philippa on the stage sorting out the angles and lighting, before Becky arrived.

The shoot at the Junction went really well. We got a lot of footage, and a lot of different angles and movement shots. Which will benefit the music video because with out a lot of cuts and changes in shots the video is likely to look quite boring. The light and stage was very good and was even better than what we expected it to be like. For this shoot we did not have a clearly storyboarded planned like with the other shoot. We had a few idea of shots but mainly just filmed all the different angles we could think of that would look good. We did shots that were; from the front, side, back, mid shot, close-up of Becky and her guitar and I also got some extra scenery shots like last time we went filming, I shot things like the lights and microphone. Un-like the other shoot, each time we filmed an angle in this shoot we did it the whole way through the song so this footage should be very easy to sync-up. Another thing that was good about this shoot was that me and Philippa had a camera each so we managed to get double the footage we would have been able to get if we were to only was used one camera. The downside of using two camera though was that when both moving during a shot we had to be very careful that we didn't get each other in the shots, which in some cases we did, but we have a lot of footage that a few mess-ups doesn't matter too much.
