Working With Philippa

Me and Philippa have decided to work together on the music video project.

We have decided for the idea of our music video, we will use a friend of Philippa's as the artist for our music video, Philippa's friend is called Becky Young. She is a solo artist that sings and plays guitar.
We chose Becky because we feel that she was a lot different than a lot of the artist that other people in the class are using, we also felt that when shooting we would have a larger range of footage. This is because other people in the class are likely to use bands that play very high tempo, rock style music that would limit the possibilities when shooting. Using high tempo music would mean using mostly very quick shots, where as with what we have chosen we could use a wider variety of shot types. Another benefit of using the artist we chose and not a band, would be that when using a band we would have to take all the music equipment (guitars, microphones, drum & amps etc...) where ever we are shooting, but with using Becky all we would need is her and her guitar, which would mean we can use a lot more places as the settings for our music video.
